Students Stuff they teach wrong in school

    Here's what I'm talking about. Stuff that's taught incorrectly at any level of schooling (university included) which perpetuates misconceptions and misinformation.

    Example: Plants do not have cholesterol, only animals.

    They teach students this even in upper level biochemistry courses but it's not strictly correct. Plants have a much quantity of cholesterol compared to animals, but it's not exactly negligible.
