Should The Canadian Government Be On Facebook And Twitter?

    … we now know the united states is involved in extensive electronic spying operations including unlawfully collecting data from telephone companies as well as illegally tapping the phones of foreign leaders. and a recent 60 MINUTES segment on edward snowden showed how the americans are TOTALLY OBSESSED with spying on people on the internet …

    … as such, the way i see it, the canadian government SHOULD NOT be using facebook or twitter in any capacity nor should the canadian government be asking the public go anywhere near those sites since they're u.s.-based platforms being used for the unlawful collection of private data by the u.s. government …

    … but what do YOU think? is it right for the canadian government to ask us to go to their facebook or twitter pages considering all of the illegal spying the united states is doing on foreign countries?
