Russian Spam Epidemic

    Just cleaned up about 30-45 spam posts concerning erectile dysfunction and car insurance, all coming from Russia/Ukraine. Our usual source of spam is China, India, Sri Lanka and occasionally Africa or the Philippines.

    The large amount of spam posts in a small period of time leaves me suspicious, so I will be investigating this.

    Sorry if you had to sift through all those posts!

    Hi folks,

    Apparently a popular forum spamming software has been upgraded to be able to spam the software that we are using. Only the Russian version has been updated, hence the Russian spam. An English version will be out in a week. I will look for ways to make the site more spam proof.
