    Hello Vancouver art lovers....

    Looking for creative recommendations.....

I'm working with an event producer who is seeking for the perfect venue in Vancouver to have a 3-4 day contemporary art show in 2011. We are looking for a facility that has enough wall space to hang 400-500 photographs.

The perfect situation is a secure venue that has enough open space for a 300+ person artists reception one evening (licensed/catered/music), then be open to the public for 3-4 days following.

Any ideas????If you've got any thoughts, please let me know....

    Thanks in advance.

Maybe the Museum of Anthropology (MOA) at UBC, they have facility rentals and are spacious from what I've seen.

There are other new/renovated buildings that UBC opens up for rental as well. They also manage Robson Square.

There's the Vancouver Rowing Club, but it's a bit smaller than what you asked for: http://www.vancouverrowingclub.ca/EN/rooms/

Vancouver Parks Board Community Centres rent out their rooms, most aren't very nice but maybe the ones renovated for the olympics would be.
