New York City passes an Affordable Housing Plan

    ....perhaps Vancouver should also do the same? Set aside affordable housing for its residents.

    Not just for lower income or the homeless, but also for the working middle class?

    Otherwise very soon the very people who work in the City which keeps it going won't be able to afford to live here. The provincial government & the City of Vancouver don't do enough to helps its residents make it an affordable place to live.

    ... can you have it both ways? free market capitalism AND prices fixed by the gov? hey, if the crown owns the real estate they can charge whatever rent they want! if not -- back off, it's private property, jack!
