With the "Winter Transit Service Adjustments" due Dec 3, brings the launch of the new #555 CARVOLTH EXCHANGE/BRAID STATION rapid bus- bus route, linking North Langley-Walnut Grove with the Braid Street SkyTrain Station, via the new bus only lanes on the improved Hwy #1 & Port Mann bridge!
There is a Park & Ride lot located near 202 St and 92 A Ave in north Langley, and TransLink has given it the name of "Carvolth Exchange".... With room for approx 800 vehicles!!!
Buses will operate with limited stops, every 10 minutes in "Peak Hours", & every 30 minutes "Daybase"...

Look for more (official) information shortly over at www.translink.ca, in local newspapers, and thru Customer Information at 604-953-3333....

Not that it matters to the users, but this route will be serviced with buses from the Port Coquitlam Transit Centre, using highway style Orion buses, with high back seats, individual reading lights, and air conditioning.... Room for 2 bikes and 2 wheelchairs per bus!

This is great for people who live in the Langley-Walnut Grove area. The condos/townhouse there are much cheaper.

Just reading a company memo stating that eventually the #555 will be extended to Lougheed Station (instead of Braid Station), once the new acces road is finished being built near Hwy #1 & North Road....

Wonder why they want to extend to Lougheed Station, Lougheed is busy enough especially during the morning rush.
