Missing Data from Saturday, October 20, 2012

    We've just noticed that all of the posts and new registrations for today have disappeared. It looks like the forum database reverted to Friday night at around 7 pm. Unfortunately this was not our doing but we have asked the host for an explanation and will update when we hear from them.

    My apologies for those who are affected. At this time, it looks like we have no way of recovering that data.

    Update: The data loss was caused by a failure of the MySQL service which runs the forum database. The service underwent a rollback to a state a few hours prior to the failure. This happened before the daily backup, so there is no way for us to restore the lost information :(.
