Local Mid-Autumn Festival in Vancouver - pre-order mooncakes now! :)

Hi all!

The Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival is coming up in less than a month (Sept 19th). It's time to give your friends and loved ones mooncakes as a symbol of this celebration!

I specialise in making Teochew mooncakes and snowskin mooncakes. Got into this home based baking business after my company closed its location.

Teochew/Shanghai Mooncakes: These pastries are a delight to look at because of the spiral effect you get when rolling out the dough. This pastry is made with purple yam (ube) filling.

Snowskin Mooncakes: These are no-bake mooncakes that have home made lotus paste filling.

Wow, a delicious work of art. I would almost feel bad eating them as they look so cool. But then again I bet they taste great!
