Local Menya Kouji's Ramen Butcher coming to Vancouver's Chinatown

    They will be replacing East of Main and are aiming for a February 6 grand opening with limited hour soft openings starting February 1st. The restaurant will specialize in tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen.

    Vancouver will be the Menya Kouji group's first foray into the North American market with more locations planned. Menya Kouji was formed by chefs taught by Kazuo Yamagishi who was the subject of the 2013 award winning documentary "The God of Ramen".
