If they come in as regular immigrants on the annual quota, become Canadian citizens and learn Canadian ways, then it's all right. But it is wrong to let wealthy foreigners living far away to buy up huge chunks of the country like that. And then regular members of Canadian society find real estate prices prohibitive because the Fortune Cookie Monster has gobbled housing up and jacked up prices. Uh-uh. It's the difference between marrying into somebody's family and seducing another person's spouse. It may be legal, but it is plainly not fair.
