    That thing she said about the people who have never left Powell River pretty much describes me, I've never left Victoria, except for trips up island, trips to Vancouver, a trip to Port Angeles, and a 10-day trip to visit family in Quebec in 2005. I haven't set foot off the island since 2005, and I haven't set foot outside Greater Victoria since 2011.
