Generic brand Bait and switch

So here's what I notice lately. Certain large chain pharmacies will notice that a certain name brand item is selling well. So they will produce that item under their own generic brand, replace the brand name item so you cannot buy it anymore then sell said replaced, generic brand item at the same price as the name brand, and pocket the difference.

 

Shoppers Drug Mart or London Drugs?

 

What is the product in particular? Haven't seen anything like this before. I doubt they will sell their house brand at name brand prices. It is competitive among all the large chain pharmacies.

 

So when u find something that actually works.....it won't be there for long.
