    I hope they eat or sell all the meat, if not is is such a waste. (People in Sudan will appreciate some beef jerky)

    Hinduism is a weird, accumulative religion where backward and barbaric ideas and practices exist cheek-and-jowl with some of the most enlightened and philosophical concepts. Like having a country or a state or province where you have dinosaurs, Roman soldiers, cowboys and astronauts at the same time. These backward concepts are survivals from when Indian religion was still at a primitive or paganistic state. The Buddha and other reformers spoke out against such animal cruelty.
