Techvibes Front End Developer

As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for supporting our clients’ conversion optimization testing by building test variations using HTML and Javascript, and providing split testing and web analytics technical implementation. You will develop creative solutions for implementing tools such as Test & Target, SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, Optimizely, and other javascript-based tools. You understand the importance of pixel-perfect HTML/CSS, usability principles, site load speed and error-free website functionality.

You will provide technical implementation support for our clients’ developers and ensure high quality html/css/javascript is delivered to the client with the support of WiderFunnel’s Technical Lead. You have experience with a wide variety of web technology platforms and can customize our testing and analytics implementations to achieve the conversion testing and reporting requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop front-end code variations for A/B and MVT tests using HTML, CSS and Javascript DOM-manipulation.
• Develop technical instructions for clients to install A/B testing tool scripts and test variations.
• Evaluate business goals provided by WiderFunnel strategists and develop tracking & tagging methods to allow our team and the clients’ teams to measure success.
• Perform a technical evaluation to determine if the testing scripts will impact on any existing coding on the site.
• Provide web analytics platform implementation and technical audits, testing technical reviews and testing tool customizations with Javascript.
• Perform quality assurance tests on tracking implementations. Must have excellent debugging skills to be able to ascertain the cause of the problem when a test is not performing as expected or is impacting on other reporting. Assist with tracking and improving the results of clients marketing campaigns.
• Manage the building, reporting and analysis of A/B and multivariate tests.
• Develop WiderFunnel’s internal project management and reporting tools and participate in technical R&D projects.
