For $5, you pay what you get. The haircut is probably going to take 10 minutes or less. Don't expect anything good.

If you want something better than $5, there is Amik Baghdad Barber for $9.99, also in New Westminster.

If you prefer better than $9.99, there is Magic Cuts and Great Clips all over Metro Vancouver. Hair cuts for less than $20 for both salons.

 

There are a few $6.99 places in East Van for haircuts.

Two are next to each other on Kingsway and Joyce. The original is an Asian owned place called New Star Hair Salon and next door is DuMonde Hair Studio (might be more than $6.99, can't remember).
