    TUESDAY!

    Monday, the company will be dealing with Monday shuffle and any catch up work from last week
    Wednesday and Thursday, the company might reply but you might be forgotten after the weekend and Monday shuffle
    Friday is the day before the weekend
    Saturday & Sunday is the weekend and the email will be lost in the pile of weekend emails

    Tuesday shouldn't be too busy, and you have a higher chance of being interviewed that week. The key is to get an interview as soon as possible after making contact. If a week goes by, the hiring manager may have forgotten about you or talked to someone better than you.

    I don't know if I agree with this. Most jobs have weeks to process applications which would make the weekend logic irrelevant.
