Does someone know where I could buy baking cheese, also known as quark cheese? It's similar to ricotta but has slightly different texture and flavor. It's widely used in eastern European countries and is a main ingredient for baking yummi tarts and cakes.
I remember running into it at one of the supermarkets a long time ago but have not been able to find it anymore.
    Many thanks!

I suggest trying Whole Foods. They mention it in one of the articles on their website, so fingers crossed that they actually sell it. Good luck
