Students Applying for Investment Banking/Consulting as a PhD Student

    Hello guys,

I am DPhil student at Oxford and would like to go into Investment Banking/Consulting (this is my partner's username so if you go through previous posts and this doesn't match up, you know why). While I do not have an academic background in finance/economics, my extracurriculars revolve around these areas and I have made an effort to gain experience through things like OSG. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with applying for top firms from a similar academic background and what it was like for you (how did you prep for interviews, company exams, etc..., and how they responded to your unique academic situation).

    Thanks

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
