Today I learned that that my idea of what "a couple of" means is wrong and differs from society. What do "few", "couple", and "several" mean to you?

    For me it was this:
    Few: <3
    Couple: 3-4
    Several: >3

    For most people:
    Couple: ~2
    Few: <3
    Several: 3-5

Few, couple, several, all same meaning to me. At least to me.

    For this guy, "A Couple" means 2... 2 people = a couple...

    "A few" means like 3 or 4...
