Local 1st Annual East Van Chili Cook Off - July 10

First cupcakes, now chili . The website is here: http://eastvanchili.blogspot.com/ but it's a little unorganized and out of date in some places. There's contradictory information on the web, but I think what I've written is correct.

It's happening at Trout Lake (Google Map) on Saturday, July 10th.

For the public, there is a entrance fee of $10 which provides you with bottled water, napkins, breadsticks, sporks, snacks and AYCE chili until it runs out. There are also prizes to be won.

Not sure of the start time, but some source say 3 pm.

Chili is free to register (3 per person in each category). The categories are: Traditional Red Chili, Vegetarian Chili and Exotic Chili. To enter and get a team registration number, send an email to [email protected] with your name, email address and team name (optional).
