Discussion notary public in vancouver area - cheap

  1. anyone know a notary public that's low cost and doesn't charge an arm and a leg? i need to get a document certified. thanks

    What do you need notarized? If it's a passport copy then it can be certified for free at the Passport Office.

    Edit: no longer the case.

    Most Notary Publics will charge roughly $30 to have a document certified. I mean it's $30 and you're only needing them once so it's not that much.

    - Notarization or Certification (witnessing) of signatures for documents ($10.00 per document)
    - Certifying True and Correct Copies of documents ($10.00 per document)
    - Drafting Affidavits or Statutory Declarations
    - Completing Declaration In Lieu of Guarantor forms for passport applications
    - Administration of Oaths
    - Solemn Affirmations.
