Routine Dental Office Inspections?

So I have just been informed that no one inspects dental offices for hygiene, protocol checks. You need to complain to the College and then they may inspect a place. So there is really nothing pro-active.

What do you think? Should dental offices be subject to routine, random hygiene checks?

... no, but lawyers' offices should be considering the vermin that infest them!

Well one thing's for sure...a visit to the dentist can be a very expensive proposition these days. I recently spent $150 of my hard earned money on dental cleaning and xrays ~ and that was with dental insurance. Something just very basic. Had the damage been any worse, I woulda been floored, bankrupted by the CO$T. So whomever you choose to be your dentist, they better be pretty damn good (and hygienic as well) to justify the cost. So make sure you choose a good one to make every dollar you spend with them count. Anyways, I was gonna git a new dental insurance plan soon, because I fear that the present one I got simply won't cut the mustard and provide the coverage needed if something more serious than cleaning or a couple of xrays comes along in the future.
