    Study Resources

    AMS Exam Database - https://circle.ubc.ca/handle/2429/6345
    • Not that great of a resource, horrendously outdated and they kept changing the links so it's quite hard to find. Only MATH and PHYS seems to be available.
UBC Mathematics Department - Past Exams - http://www.math.ubc.ca/Ugrad/pastExams/
    • These are past final exams for Math 100-400 levels. So your first year and second year calculus courses are definitely included (MATH 100, 180, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 200 etc).
    UBC Statistics Exams - https://slate.stat.ubc.ca/slate/Slate/
    • This is not an explicit inventory of STAT exams, but past midterms and final exams are commonly posted under each course site on SLATE.
    Dan The Tutor - http://members.shaw.ca/danthetutor/
    • Free exam preparation material for Chem 123, Math 101, Math 103, Phys 101, Phys 102 and Math 200.
    Prep101 Free Stuff - http://prep101.com/free.php?school=13
    • They have free equation sheets and practice tests for the following courses: Biol 112, Biol 200, Biol 201, Biol 334, Chem 121, Chem 123, Chem 154, Chem 205, Chem 233, Econ 101, Econ 101, Econ 102, Econ 102, Math 100/180, Math 101, Math 102, Math 103, Math 104/184, Math 105, Math 152, Math 200, Phys 100, Phys 101, Phys 102, Phys 153, Phys 170.
    ------------------

General tip - Use google to find old UBC course sites that predate Vista and WebCT since they commonly contain past exams. Nowdays, exams are posted on Blackboard (Vista/WebCT) which severely limits access.

Tip #2 - Friends with older siblings and previous students have always been the best resource for old exams

    some advice...
    - the $5 math exam packages from the UBC Math Club are great
    - the physiology (PHYL 301) exam package from BPP is utter crap. the questions are not representative of the exam because they're not from old exams. i think the club members just make them up, hence they're littered with mistakes and are generally stupid
    - MISA likes to rip students off by charging $17 for MICB exam packages, i can't remember if they were representative. in general microbiology and immunology exams at UBC are super ambiguous. get familiar with how they wants you to interpret the questions and answers, especially if you have tracy kion

dump from my computer, so i can delete them...

    biology
    chemistry
    earth & ocean sciences
    math

I've been informed that Dan the Tutor has stopped tutoring and released his final exam prep material for free as a bunch of zip files (Chem 123, Math 101, Math 103, Phys 101, Phys 102, Math 200).

The AMS exam database no longer works. Is there another general exam bank? I found a new one for law students only. http://law.library.ubc.ca/exams/ Thanks!
