    Thanks for the updates Superchecker.

I have a question that I'm not sure if you can answer, or have any experience in. I followed your instruction and tried to apply for the customer service attendant position. However, when it came to the time to attach my cover letter & resume, the process appears to time out or just stays loading. I have left it loading for hours at a time with no luck. If you have any insight or advice, that would be great. Thanks!

The qualifications say they prefer people with "standard level" St. John's ambulance first aid training. I wonder if there is any point in applying if you don't have that? Would they be willing to hire someone with the other qualifications who is willing to get the first aid training?

The St. John's ambulance website has a lot of different "standard" courses--anyone know which one BCRTC requires?

I read the qualifications as the would prefer applicants to have "Standard" First Aid training or better....
It would definitely help your resume if you had any First Aid training...

APPLY! See what happens! You never know how many applicants they'll get....

You won't get the job if you don't at least apply...

Occasionally this same opportunity pops up over at Canada Line, which is a separate company: www.protransbc.com

Keep an eye on that website... www.translink.ca/ and then Careers... Opportunities come and go... Many only get posted for like 5 business days....

There are currently over 30 opportunities up at TransLink...
-about 12 MORE at Coast Mountain Bus Company.. Get your foot in the door as a DEPOT COORDINATOR...
    -about 7 or 8 MORE at BCRTC-SkyTrain...

Canada Line hires separately over at www.protransbc.com and they currently have an INTERNAL posting up for SkyTrain Attendants... Keep an eye on that to see if it goes external mid week??

If they ever work out all the bugs in the Compass Fare system, they'll need FareGate Attendants for like 6 months...

    Another great website is www.civicinfo.bc.ca/16.asp

HI Superchecker. I passed the test and I had an interview for skytrain attendant position this week. They let me know that I did not make it. I am not sure how to get this job. I have good experiences and skills. The interview went pretty good. I am not sure what to do. I really want this job. Do I need to know somebody at Translink? Does it help?Is it good to apply again? Thanks a lot.
