Coast Mountain Bus Company is in need of more SERVICEPERSONS...

While there are eventually afternoon & even day shifts, most start out on nights- 4 nights a week, say something like 8pm til 5am... 4 on- 3 off..
Sweeping out buses, refueling buses, checking and maintaining fluid levels, assisting mechanics as required... Driving empty buses thru the wash rack... Getting buses ready for the next days assignments.

Based out of the Burnaby depot, but could be required at any of the depots: Vancouver-Marpole, Oakridge, Burnaby, North Van, Port Coquitlam, Richmond or Surrey...

They pick their shifts once a year, and then bid on/apply for any vacancies in between sign ups...

$19.30 an hr to start with raises every 6 months until $27.57 is reached (April 2013 rates)...
It's all Full time... Regular status= benefits...

Will be trained for a class #3 license...

www.translink.ca and then their Careers Page, and THEN Coast Mountain Bus Company...

I've been told that training is to achieve a class #2 license... Not a #3 as I previously thought...

#27.57 plus benefits to service/prep a bus? That's extremely high pay. Some professionals and managers in the private sector don't even make that much.
