Students transfer to BCIT?

Hi I'm a grade 12 student trying to get into BCIT for to study Business and Media. My marks aren't that good (average 75-80%?) so I might not get into BCIT for the fall term. I decided that it might be better to go to another college and transfer to BCIT.

So, my question is, is there any colleges that I can get into so that I can transfer to BCIT? I'm a bit desperate and worried that I might have to rest a full year and a half to study in BCIT. Please help me out.

    Thank you.

Don't go to BCIT, especially their school of business programs. It sucks and you get no practicum or job search assistance. It's difficult and the teachers aren't good at all, they're horrible. You also will have no life, as they cram everything at you. You learn nothing and you will be frustrated with all the crap you will deal with. Textbooks are a rip off, exams are full of twists that they don't teach you in class, it never ends. You get no help from nobody and all of the b/s they pull off they sweep under the rug.

If you're taking something in this field or similar, go to one of the universities or a college. You will get more bang for your buck..Take it from me. I was there and I'm still pissed off at them after quite a few years now.

Did you ever go to a university or a college? If not then your view is really whacccked.

UBC crams shit into my head and in the end, I will have no job like all you peeps. n' I will think, why the f*ck. The only up side to school is that I can dress up. LOLz <3

OMG that's the exact same reason I like going to school too! Otherwise, might as well just stay home and read the textbooks and notes.

oh em gee, finally someone who understands me. i like your thinking, it's cheaper too. tuition > books. books < tuition. best to skip tuition and do just books. u can always go to staples and forge your own ubc degree Lolz lmao

all you need is English at 65% and math. I think you grades would be good enough. If you are going to college then I recommend you to transer to UBC or SFU. BCIT, SFU, and UBC are all difficult( in their own ways)
And yes you will have no life in BCIT, you better be prepared. Few ( not all )of the new high school grads couldn't last in BCIT. Average age is around 24 at BCIT.

    Hi,

I would aim for UBC or SFU. Both universities have a better reputation and their graduates are more likely to get the best internships and graduate jobs.

I think that you can transfer from capilano to either UBC, SFU or BCIT.
