Sometimes when you need an item but you're not sure which store has it cheaper, you can take advantage of the fact that a growing number of retailers will list their prices online now.

    Supermarkets and Drug Stores
    http://www.walmart.ca/
    http://www.londondrugs.com/
    http://shop.saveonfoods.com/

    Home and Hardware

    http://www.homedepot.ca/
    http://www.homehardware.ca/
    http://www.rona.ca/
    http://www.lowes.ca/
    http://www.ikea.com/ca/

    Home and Electronics
    http://www.futureshop.ca/
    http://www.bestbuy.ca/
http://www.amazon.ca/ is always worth a gander though it doesn't quite fit into the list because there are no brick and mortar stores.

Now if only Superstore and No Frills posted their prices online.

Used these sites all the time to plan my shopping trip.

Yes, waiting for Superstore and No Frills to post their prices. And also Shoppers Drug Mart.

    At one time Target too.

No brick and mortar store. Plenty of such sites.

There is also good old Army & Navy. Clothing, footwear, houseware, and groceries!

You can also shop online, add the items to cart and wait for them to ship to you.
