So I've been so sick now for just over a week. At least it's outa my bones and head now and is in my chest. I sound like i have whooping cough. I have tried stuff and i'm fing sick of spending money on shit that doesn't work. So far the 'shit that don't work':

Cepacol (so I guess now you have to buy the extra strength to get the strength the regular used to have 10 years ago when I last bought it. Suffice it to say it did not numb my throat like it used to.)

Ricola: I don't think there's any Echinacea in it anymore. Just like a candy now at this point

Herbon herbal formula: you put the little packet of freeze dried herbs into hot water to make a tea. I couldn't taste the licorice root at all that was supposedly in there and the ginger was negligible. Waste of money.

Vicks chest goo : remember when this stuff worked?....like 35 years ago when they actually still had the Camphor in it?

So please....tell me what really works for you. Thank you.

Thanks Bill. I tried that once and my throat closed. I guess I'm allergic to Eucalyptus. I nearly stopped breathing. UGH.

who doesn't love chicken soup....but most of the chicken is fed GM corn these days which gives me phlegm and congestion...plus the stuff in stores in packets ie. 'just add hot water' have GM soybean oil and so much m.s.g........

I just made myself some hot peppermint tea with honey, fresh-squeezed lemon juice and some strained chopped up chili peppers. I am getting some oil of Camphor soon to put on the bottom of my feet which should help too.
