How Much Exercise Do You Get?

    ... what kind of physical exercise do you get on a weekly basis?

    ... do you have a formal workout routine of some kind you engage in, like jogging or going to a gym? or do you get enough exercise from your regular life that a formal workout isn't necessary? or is your day too busy to think about exercise? or do you give a hoot about exercise at all?

    ... i've jogged in the past, that's a great way to stay in shape. these days though i get a good workout just from using a bicycle as my primary source of transportation where i reside ...

    ... how about you? what are your thoughts on exercise?

    Cycle an hour a day most days.

    Around the False Creek Seawall & maybe Stanley Park or up to 49th & Main for lunch then back.

    ... i'm a fellow cyclist as well. in fact, cycling is my main mode of transportation ...

    In the summer, I play roller hockey twice a week. In the winter, I have floor hockey once a week. Each game lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.

    I run three days a week and go to the gym three days a week. I do all sorts of unscheduled activities as well.

    Not enough. 20 minutes of walking during work days. When I have time off then I head to the gym and go on hikes.

    The floor hockey is the best workout. Unlike roller hockey, if you stop moving your legs, you don't move anymore. I just started playing with this group this year.

    In prior years, I played rec league ice hockey in the winter. I decided to retire from the league as I feel my skills has diminished too much due to age and injuries. The floor hockey and roller hockey are casual groups and play at a level I am more comfortable with.

    I've exercised regularly for 30mins,3x a week and on the other days i will do several exercises for a few minutes. if i don't have any other physical activity on those days
